The law of substitution says that your mind can only hold one thought at a time either positive or negative.
If we apply this to our thoughts and we wish to have positive experiences in our life we must keep our minds focused on positive things, events and circumstances.
In fact if you do not consciously focus on positive thoughts, negative thoughts will grow automatically i.e. worries, concerns and anxiety will grow automatically if we do not consciously fill our mind with thoughts about what we want.
Our part here is to keep in mind what we want to be or come into our lives, characteristics we want to be or have, if we don’t then because our mind will not stay still for long, negative thoughts (which require no concentration upon) will grow automatically.
The two factors important here are thought and feeling, whereby feeling is the active process of mind i.e. each thought of what we want to bring into our life must be charged or activated by an emotion.
Now negativity comes with emotion all by itself with no effort on our part, but a positive thought requires the same emotional power to come into existence.
Emotions of love, desire, excitement must accompany our positive thoughts. A thought without an emotion does not have the power to generate a reaction in our lives or a direction. Thought and feeling must be mixed.

The law of repetition means that to develop any skill we must first learn it and then practice it over and over again until it becomes automatic.
So if we want to change i.e. from negative thoughts to positive ones, we must practice the positive thoughts over and over again.
If you want to change try dwelling on the person you want to be all of the time. Whether you are positive or negative it is simply a habit you have been doing for so long i.e. a positive person does not have to ‘think’ themselves positive, it is a habit they have been doing over and over again until it is an automatic thought process for them.
You can develop habits of optimism and looking for the good in each situation, being nice to people etc simply by following this law of repetition.
In fact your entire future is formed from the habits you practice especially the habit of your mind.

The law of relaxation says that in all mental working effort defeats itself. It is the opposite to physical effort whereby the more we put into it the better the results. This is very similar to the Law of Attraction.
This is a critical distinction, the less we push with our mind, the faster we become. That is to say, the more we confidently expect things to come into our life and relax knowing they will come into our lives when we are ready for them, the more rapidly they come to us.
In fact the harder we will something before their time, the more likely we encounter a crisis in our lives. If we try to get things to happen too fast or too slow, we will cause a sense of chaos in our lives.
It is the focusing on what we want, but letting go of the outcome, i.e. letting go knowing that your desire or something better will come when we are ready.
So the goal is to keep our focus on what we want, to confidently believe, whilst relaxing (not pushing) on the outcome knowing what we want will come to us when we are ready for it.
Just confidently have faith in the laws, get on with your part of the process (action) and relax on the outcome. Not to do so causes considerable stress in our lives.
Bend with the wind, trust it is all happening perfectly and in the right time and simply do your part by keeping your focus on what you want, with a confident expectation of a positive outcome, work on the habits and visions that will build your desired outcome and let the universe do the rest.
Keep your mind focused on where we want to go, take action and confidently expect that exactly when we are ready what we want will come to us.
Your part in this is to diligently keep your mind on what you want and take the next steps one at a time working toward your goals.
By gradually changing your habits toward what you want, you can expect it to come into your life.

Whatever we believe with feeling becomes our reality – if we wish to change our reality we must change beliefs about ourselves in relation to reality.
If we have a limited self concept (self limiting beliefs) they become true for us whether they are based on fact or fiction.
